JOB DESCRIPTION

You will work with needs assessments, deciding on assistance according to the Social Services Act for the initial period at home after a short-term stay. The position also involves coordinating decided interventions in collaboration with colleagues and management during the planning of homecoming. Assessments of individual needs are conducted according to IBIC.

The role of the social welfare officer in the homecoming team involves enabling a safe and secure return home for individuals who have stayed at the short-term care facility. The work means that you will help individuals feel secure and safe when returning to their own homes in a legally secure manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Social worker or higher education with a focus on social care or other higher education deemed equivalent. Experience in public authority operations within social work is an asset.

Characteristics we are looking for in you: The work requires good communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Your ability to collaborate is strong, you have a responsive approach, and communicate clearly and pedagogically. In the public authority role, a good ability to make objective and factual assessments and to make clear decisions in accordance with applicable regulations and case law is required. Social competence and empathetic ability are important qualities.

You see opportunities in every situation and are responsible and flexible. You also have good collaboration skills.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
